Outdoor Cardiff is about using partnership and co-ordination to promote the rich variety of open air events, places and activities that the city has to offer.
The Children’s Play Service provides play opportunities for children and young people aged 5-14 throughout Cardiff. We offer open access play sessions for all young people in the community to attend, along with play sessions for specific groups of young people such as the refugee and asylum seeker community, gypsy and traveller community, and families with children with additional needs.
Cardiff Hubs and Libraries aim to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for everyone to explore, learn, and develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. There are Hubs and Libraries all across the city that will be offering plenty of fun filled events and activities over the Summer period in line with this years Summer Reading Challenge.
Cardiff Youth Service are part of Cardiff Council’s Education department. We work with young people aged 11-25 to develop personal, social and educational development through a variety of opportunities. We do this in communities through participatory experiences and offer information, support and guidance to enable young people to reach their unique full potential. We work with young people in a variety of settings offering both universal and, for those identified as vulnerable, targeted support.
